The video contains narrative and performance this is due to the different part of the video on one side there is Yomi in a dream which he's in lost in today modern society how people are losing on how to communicate with each other we got this idea from the title of the music video 'Lost in the world' this narrative side of the video was good but it didnt look like a music video more like a intro to movie so we added performance elements due to the influence of our media teacher. In the end it payed of to add the performance element because it looks like a music video we dont know if it would be popular because of its originality espically due to the final parts of the music video which contain elements of humour which is a contrast to the rest of the video however not everything has to relate to each in the video.
One of the themes is being lost and unwanted these themes come from the different parts of the video the main theme is being lost because Yomi does a lot of running and searching through the city of Machester the other theme of being unwanted comes from the final part of the video where Yomi loses the job he has due to his lack of attention.
The costumes weren't special they were just everyday clothing this choice was due to a few factors one of those was budget because we didn't have one also it was a coursework music video not a professional one. The second reason is it did not occur to our group to have any specials costumes. The last one is that Yomi wanted to wear his own clothing due to him being the main character of the music video.
Props we didn't use any this was due to the fact we didn't have a budget. The location is various part of Manchester this ranges to Clayton to Deansgate this range of location was due to the different sights Manchester has.
