This music video is a performance and narrative video as both Professor green and Emeli are adding the performance side there is also a detailed story within the song, which relates to the lyrics very well this is backed up by loads of close ups and the choreography there was also hand held camera movements within the video.

this music video will come under amplification because amplification because the director of the video has used unusual and surrealistic approaches to create this video, this is shown because although the video shown is in relation to the song it has done this by using creative interpretation, E.G- they use visual matching as the boy look through the blinds at his parents then it goes to pro green singing in front of a larger set of blinds which shows the hiding he has had to do from his parents, also it shows pro green singing in a aeroplane shelter and Emile singing in a boat warehouse, this shows the juxtaposition between the scenes with a bright light coming through at the back.

intertextuality can be seen all the way through as the director has chosen a man woman and child to act in the music video, they come together to create an in film effect of which story of which the boy has never been liked by his father and the amount of hiding and watching he does over his dad constantly, although the footage shown is not from an actual film is was put together to show the struggle children have to go through because there parents dislike/unfavore them.
